Corrugated paper is a board-like material formed by bonding linerboard and corrugated paper processed by corrugated rollers. It is generally divided into two types: single-wall corrugated board and double-wall corrugated board. According to the size of the corrugations, it is divided into five types: A, B, C, E, and F. The invention and application of corrugated paper have a history of over a hundred years, possessing advantages such as low cost, light weight, easy processing, high strength, excellent printability, and convenient storage and handling. Over 80% of corrugated paper can be recycled. Corrugated paper can be used for packaging food or digital products, is relatively environmentally friendly, and widely used.
A-flute and B-flute corrugations are generally used for transport outer packaging boxes, and beer boxes are usually made with B-flute. E-flute is often used for single packaging boxes with certain aesthetic requirements and containing items of appropriate weight. F-flute and G-flute corrugations are collectively known as micro-flutes, which are extremely thin corrugations used as disposable packaging containers for foods such as hamburgers and cream-filled pastries, or for packaging micro-electronic products like digital cameras and portable stereo systems, as well as refrigerated goods.
