Corrugated board is a sheet-like material made by bonding linerboard and corrugated medium formed by a corrugating roller. It is generally divided into single-wall corrugated board and double-wall corrugated board. According to the corrugation size, it is divided into five types: A, B, C, E, and F. Corrugated board has been invented and applied for more than 100 years. It has advantages such as low cost, light weight, easy processing, high strength, good printing adaptability, and convenient storage and handling. More than 80% of corrugated board can be recycled. Corrugated board can be used for packaging food or digital products, which is relatively environmentally friendly and widely used.

Type A and B corrugations are generally used for outer packaging boxes for transportation, and beer boxes are generally made of B flute. Type E corrugation is often used for single-piece packaging boxes with certain aesthetic requirements and containing appropriately weighted contents. Type F and G corrugations, collectively known as micro-corrugations, are extremely thin corrugations used for disposable packaging containers for food such as hamburgers and cream-filled pastries, or for packaging micro-electronic products such as digital cameras and portable stereo systems, as well as refrigerated goods.
