Corrugated paper is a board-like material made by bonding linerboard and corrugated medium, which is processed into a wavy shape by corrugated rollers. It is generally divided into two types: single-wall corrugated board and double-wall corrugated board. According to the flute size, it is categorized into five types: A, B, C, E, and F. The invention and application of corrugated paper have a history of over a hundred years. It has advantages such as low cost, light weight, easy processing, high strength, excellent printing adaptability, and convenient storage and transportation. Over 80% of corrugated paper can be recycled and reused. Corrugated paper can be used for packaging food or digital products, is relatively environmentally friendly, and is widely used.
A-flute and B-flute corrugated board are generally used for outer shipping cartons; beer cartons are typically made with B-flute. E-flute is often used for individual packaging boxes that require certain aesthetic appeal and contain items of appropriate weight. F-flute and G-flute corrugated board are collectively known as micro-flute, which is an extremely thin corrugated board. It is used as disposable packaging containers for foods such as hamburgers and cream-filled pastries, or it is used for packaging micro-electronic products like digital cameras and portable stereo systems, as well as refrigerated goods.
